The project explores the bed as a narrative, examining social and personal boundaries by peering into 12 intimate spaces. Through beds, decor, colors, and personal items, it imagines each character's life and spirit. Interactive websites and games engage viewers, inviting them to uncover a more emotional side of society.
In this project, I explored the possibilities of a square meter. It is divided into three parts. The first is my empirical exploration of the tangible square meter, which is full of microscopic wonders. The second part expresses my perplexity about the area of reality. The dilemma of searching for the soul within the confines of reality - can we transcend this square meter and glimpse the sprawling embrace of the city? Life seems so peaceful that I can't help but imagine what it would be like to experience different environments within the same area. The third is about my associations. Here, the real and virtual environments begin to intertwine and confuse, which is my reflection and concern about the virtual space.
The project reinterprets classical music through music visualization, expanding the aesthetic and understanding of auditory art. Combining traditional painting, video, programming, and modern dance techniques, it focuses on the liberation and reconstruction of formal elements. Inspired by Kandinsky's synesthetic art, it applies musical structures to abstract painting. Building on abstract emotions in intimate relationships, the project uses modern music visualization technology to create a visual sensory experience, achieving a total art form of "colored hearing."
The project revolves around anthropocentrism. By constructing a concrete, humorous but sad scenario of the future, it criticizes the endless greed of mankind, who will eventually suffer the consequences of his own arrogance. By doing so, we hope that people will regain a sense of reverence for nature. Graphic novels and posters are used as a medium to foretell and respond to the problems and consequences that may arise from the rampant anthropocentrism of modern times.
