'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' tells the story of a seagull who pursues his dream of flying, and eventually surpasses himself and learns to fly. What is special is that this seagull returns to his hometown and tries to lead the seagulls that once doubted him and teach them flying experience. However, these seagulls are trapped in myths and trapped by the desires in front of them. I made luminous seagulls of different shapes with reference to the form of lanterns.

This project is my reflection on the inevitable fate and eternal reincarnation. The barbaric development of cities is having a huge impact on nature. In an old urban area in Nanjing that is about to be demolished, many old fir trees are growing actively and tenaciously until their developed roots break through the cement and are exposed to the air. With the demolition and urban reconstruction, this fir tree rooted in the community will face unprecedented threats and may disappear in the memory along with this urban area.

This project focuses on the neglected and whitewashed parts of the enthusiastic cheers. The centralized society has not collapsed yet and seems to be more solid than before. The emotions of the nationalist believers who fall into fanatic worship are arbitrarily manipulated. It is particularly important to deconstruct the complexity of centralization and release the energy and voice of individuals.

Photographic prints, plaster, stainless steel, circuit boards, baby bottles, gears Artificial intelligence (AI) and robots are replacing manual and repetitive human jobs; married women workers without children are rejected by enterprises; male intellectual workers over 40 face a cruel elimination mechanism. The economic recession has led to a decline in consumer demand, forcing companies to lay off employees. They are facing not only unemployment but also the loss of social identity. These people who are forced to lose their jobs are often labeled as "useless people" and fall into a vicious cycle of self-denial and social indifference. These sculptures can be seen as eliminated bodies, which gather together to stand in a monumental way. The blurred images represent the erased identity and the spirit of non-cooperation. These emotional skins remind us to re-examine our own value.
