This project was inspired by the participation of the Internet in the aesthetics —— oldcore. Originating from the 1950s to the 2010s, it represents the feeling of nostalgia. Nostalgia comes from the current filter we put on our nostalgia for the past. People yearn to "be a kid again", and nostalgia aesthetics tend to use images to create an atmosphere that invites people to yearn for a glorified past.

I was born in a very traditional region and was exposed to a lot of superstitious culture from a young age. At that time, society was actively working to eliminate feudal superstitions, and everyone believed that superstition was a bad thing. However, in recent years, the trend has changed. Both the people around me and those online—especially young people—have started to become fascinated with metaphysical elements once again. Is this a sign of societal regression? Perhaps not.
