The project aims to provide innovative care solutions for palients in vegetative states, inspired by the acupressure theory of traditionaChinese medicine and the speclal needs of vegetative populations. Vegelalive state, also known as unresponsiveness after coma, is adisorder of consciousness caused by severe brain iniury, in which the patient has a complete loss of knowiedge of the outside world andof himself. Although hypothalamus and bralinstem function are preserved, patients rely on continuous care to malintain vital signs or riskcomplications such as muscle atrophy and pressure sores. Based on the twelve meridians theory of traditional Chinese medicine, thisproject designed an inflatable nursing clothing. The theory of meridians provides an important theoretical basis for us, and specificacupoints such as Hegu and Quchi can effecively promote blood circulation and releve physical discomfor. According to the distrbutionof these acupoints, we can form massage mechanisms for dilferent parts through scientific design, help patients get more support in dailcare, help improve physiological status, and reduce the difficulty of nursing.
My project was inspired by the true story of my art training experience in highschool. l went to theclassroom at 7 o 'clock every day and began to practicesketching and color, etc. At 11 o 'clockevery night, i began to smoke to try torelieve anxiety under the constant high-pressureatmosphere, which also helpedme find my own way of healing. So l wanted to do a project thatexpressedthe environment at that time. l used the technique of burning to express thepleasurebrought by burning tobacco when l wanted to relieve the pressure at thattime, and the smokeemitted by swallowing can express the effect of purifyingone's emotions. The stacking of paper inthe studio reminds me of my attempt onthe silhouette of clothing. l recall the scene at that time inthis project, and hope toapply it to my own unique design series.Nicotine Redemption
This is a project about color therapy for ptsd patients, PTSD patients first appeared in World War l, and most of them were soldiers duringWorld War 1. After social development, scholars found that they were no longer limited to this group of soldiers. For example, people who experience many unexpected events can be called "traumatic", such as divorce, job loss or failure in an exam. Generaly speaking, normal peoplecan relieve themselves over time after suffering these iniuries, but some people become ptsd patients due to the infuence of risk factors suctas introversion, poor family, and mental disorders.l also have a litle ptsd because of family education, which is one ofthe reasons why l wantto do this topic, so l try to use color therapy to relieve this uncomfortable feeling, and also help other groups such as soldiers to relieve this uncomfortable feeling. The addition of Plutchik's Wheel of emotional roulette as the basis of the theory etc.
The emotional value it brings to theaudience and the effect of relaxingthe body and mind are notin line withmy previous projects, and its pertor-mance under ight and shadow is themain direction / want to study. Bychanging the intensity of light toaffect the different effecis orought byits shadow, i hope to get some in-spired shapes to combine the silhou-ette and some structures of the cloth-ing. The special leather treatment ofshadow puppets can also be com-bined with the fabric of the clothing
