This sculpture is inspired by my childhood, where l spentmost of my time on my small bed with my toys. With myparents busy at work and not able to spend much time withme, they bought me many toys which became my bestfriends. The artwork incorporates the bed as a centralscene, emphasizing the child's companionship with toyswhile lying or sitting on the bed. The bed is designed as achild's world, with a large web woven from colorful yarnextending from its edge-a part connected to the world yetan impassable barrier. At the center, the child figure isentirely crafted from my childhood toys, ranging fromclassic plush toys to cars and building blocks. These toysare more than mere objects; they represent imagination andcompanionship. The sculpture employs spatial construction between toysand the human figure to capture the emotional bondbetween a child and their toys. The child's posture andexpressions convey a silent sense of loneliness, lying on thebed or sitting in a corner, with facial features composed oftoy parts subtly hinting at self-entertainment amidstsolitude. This feeling of loneliness is intensified andexpanded through the imagery of toys, each seeming to bea part of the child's inner world, sharing countless hours
together.
