My inspiration comes from an in-depth obseruation of CCP and Deepti's worksand how they establish a connection with the body's movement space.Through extensiue deconstructiuist design, they emphasize the interaction between clothing and the human body. The cutting and layering details show-case the dynamic spatial extension ofthe garments during movement. By fo-cusing on the anatomical relationship between the body and clothing, andusing minimalist silhouettes and cuttingdesigns, they create a sense of space inmotion. This has profoundly made me ap-preciate the fusion of dynamic body movement and spatial language.
First, l studied the works of artist Ana Mendieta, who belieues that the transformation of soul's energy is closest to rebirth. Mendieta describes the euolution of the soul from insects tohumans, from humans to ghosts, from ghosts to plants, and from plants to the galaxy, show-casing the potential for the continuation of life. Next, l explored the philosophy of Carol christian Poell, who posits that the state of life justbefore disintearation is closest to rebirth, i delved into his runwau shows and the eerie mate-rials he uses in his pieces, examining his unique interpretation of life and rebirth I aim to understand and express the complex and profound concept ofrebirth. The transforma- tion of the soul and the disintegration-rebirth process together construct a multidimensional perspective, allowing me to more comprehensively explore the cycle and renewal of life.
Among subcultures, punk culture interests me the most, i am deeply struck by its stunningvisual impact, which possesses a unique visual power and profound social context, attract.ing the attention and loue of countless people. The visual elements in punk culture areoften bold and auant-garde, developing into what is known as an "anti-elite" culture, filledwith rebellious and unrestrained spirit, More importantly, punk cuiture embodies a pro-found resistance to class sustems,To break down class barriers, this "anti-elite" cultureuses extreme forms of expression to awaken public awareness of social issues and pushfor social change. This deeply attracts me to such a culture.
My love for electronic music began in junior high school. The relaxed feeling andthe atmosphere of music festiuals, with their warm and unbridled sense of free.dom, fascinated me, especially the "techno" music style, Techno is a key part ofelectronic music's origins, and today's festivals continue to innowate and evolve(like the melodic techno from the Afterlife label with its exaggerated stage ef-fects), This constant innouation and integration with modern technology have in-spired new styles, much like my continuous learning and exploration in clothingdesign. Thus, l have found a way to integrate the "techno" music style into cloth-ing to showcase it.
