The inspiration of the first proiect came fromthe anxiety and helplessness l felt all thetime. After self-analysis,l found that thissituation was mainly caused by constant"comparison". The sense of loss mainy comesfrom comparing myself with others, and thepressure exerted on myself unwittingly makesit more and more difficult for me to deal withmyself and fall into a nervous mood,so l wildiscuss this issue in this project.
The inspiration for this project came from theproblemthat has been bothering me, which is that l've alwayslooked extremely thin. This issue has persisted sincewas a child, and it hasn't been alleviated even withmedical treatment. Moreover, it's accompanied bysome physical discomforts.
My inspiration comes from the experience of raising a parrot. l love itdearly but fear it will fly away, so l keep it in a cage. Watching it longfor freedom, flying around inside the cage, l feel conflicted. Even when lopen the cage to let it play, it's still under my supervision, and the spaceis limited. When l take it outside, i tie a string around it to prevent it fromflying away. These restrictions stem from my love and protection for it, butknow its true nature is not free.In this project, l want to express the paradox of loving a pet. While we wishfor their safety and happiness, we are forced to confine them, sacrificingtheir freedom to connect with nature. This sense of conflict and regret isthe core theme l aim to convey through my work.
The background of this project is that l always see groups of workers in a hurry on the street. No one dares to slack off in the fast-paced era of material desires, and it is difficult foreveryone to find time to enjoy nature. Some time ago, the park 20-minute theory was popularon Little Red Book, which means that as long as you spend 20 minutes in the park, even ifyou don't do anything, you can get better, So l want to make jewelry in this project that allowsthe wearer to enjoy nature and get natural healing even if he works in a reinforced concrete building.
