I'm inspired by dreams.
Since I was a child, I've always wantedto fly.
That's why I used to dream a lot, and inmy dreams, I flew in different waysI think the dream is a reflection andcompensation of my real life.
The stress of real life is releasedthrough different ways of flying. It fulfilsmy fantasies about reality and makes upfor some of my regrets.
In this project, I am concerned with the reflection on the state of existence of the elderly. In the physical body, the elderly as the end point and the baby as the
beginning of the newborn constitute a reincarnation under the passage of time, and they have a lot of commonalities with each other, such as eating and dressing.
and physical changes. Their similarities touched me and made me want to know more about the elderly, so I investigated the inner thoughts of the elderly around
me and learned about their daily habits, their daily necessities as well as the changes in their bodies and lives, and the things they like to do.
I have experienced social phobiaand it lasted for a long time.In recent years, with thedevelopment of the Internet, people are more willing to use electronic devices to communicate with each other, and some people becomereluctant to go out and resistso cialising,so'social phobiahas become a representative of a group of people. I find thatthese people, including myself, are often misunderstood due totheir lack of expression, but Ifeel that this is a way of lifeand I don't want to changemyself because of what the outside world thinks. Therefore.I want to show the unigueness of this group of people through astory picture book and an installation,to express therich and interesting inner worldof socially fearful people.
In this project I want to discuss the reflections ofthe bystander on historical events as a stranger ina foreign land.
In his account, Ahmad ibn Fadlan, a 10thcenturyMuslim traveller, records what he saw in the landsof the Turks, Khazars, Rus, Sakaliba, Bashgirs andothers.
The picture book reproduces the fragments mentionedin his writings.
Recording,as an outsider.
