This project features two little monsters from different worlds, telling a story about curiositymisunderstanding and reconciliation. Although the two little monsters are curious about each other'sworld, they create many misunderstandings in the process of exploring each other's world becausethey cannot communicate. These misunderstandings gradually escalate and eventually cause drasticchanges in the two worlds. However, when they realize their mistakes, both sides sincerely apologizeand work hard to restore the world to its original state. l want to explore the importance of transcendingdifferences and barriers, as well as the power of reconciliation and understanding through a vividstoryline and interesting illustration language.
In this project I broke down the stereotypes of ghosts, transforming them from the
impression of being scary and spooky to healing and joyful. I then created modern
identitiesfor sixdifferent ghosts, creating a strong sense of contrast.
During the creation process I found that very few people have ever paid attention
to the stories of ghosts before they were born, so I went to learn about their stories
as well as combining the ghosts' own characteristics to create new ghost characters,
presenting them in a hilarious and healing way, so that ghosts from the ancient times to the present day can appear in the public's view and become familiar with their stories.
This project builds a street model based on my childhood memories.
Based on the old neighborhoods in my memory, l chose multiple scenes as themes. Each building in my memory is a unique corner, and these corners are stitched togetherto form a complete old neighborhood. Although they are missing in my memory, theyare an indispensable part of my childhood life.
I hope to restore the details that are gradually blurred in my memory in this way.
Manybrick-and-mortar industries are facing tremendous challenges in the wake of the epidemic. However, some have chosen to transform themselves in the midst of economic hardship by bringing physical goods to a wider audience through live webcasting. This phenomenon has triggered me to think deeply about the emerging industry of live streaming, especially the concept of virtual anchors.
In this project, I hope to combine the characteristics of live broadcasting rooms, design a series of character settings for different live broadcasting rooms, explore the boundaries where the virtual Get start meets the real, and give the virtual anchor a more embodied personality and characteristics.
