The islandnation is economically backward and its populationis over-concentrated in the South Tarawa region.Although the Government has purchased landabroad in preparation for migration, most residentsare reluctant to relocate.
In response to the crisis and to promote localdevelopment, this project designs a new type ofmaritime community that can be continuouslyexpanded. The community is built usingalgorithmically-supported modular architecturethat preserves the local cultural identity but can bepersonalised according to individual preferences.
Volcanic eruptions are highly destructive natural phenomenacharacterized by significant uncertainty, when they occur, they canlead to severe consequences.Research indicates that there areseveral potentially threatening super volcanoes globally, whichhave received little attention due to their prolonged dormant state,resulting in a general lack of crisis awareness and self-rescueknowledge among the public.Therefore, this project aims to conduct in-depth research on theresidents near volcanoes and self-rescue measures during volcaniceruptions. We plan to develop a serious game designed to providean immersive experience that enhances awareness of the impactsof volcanic eruptions and strengthens preventative measures.

Accordingto a survey, in the United States, each person ingestsmore than 50,000 microplastic particles per year fromfood alone. However, people don't pay enough attentionto microplastics, and most of them don't even knowabout it, and there are not many research studies
This project proposes a "plastic feast", where food ismade directly into plastic products, in order to alert andraise awareness of microplastics in food.
More and more people are keeping reptile pets today,but little attention is paid to the important part ofanimal enrichment, which is the guarantee that theanimal will enjoy the health and freedom it deserves asmuch as a human being. Through research it has beenfound that snakes are the most popular speciesamongst reptile pets (especially corn snakes, but mostdie within the first year of coming to a new home andvery few of the snakes' needs are catered for.
Therefore, this project aims to raise awareness of petsnake abundance and produce smart devices thatfacilitate feeding. The project delved into the needs ofthe most kept corn snakes and their owners, producedan app and related website, and produced a feedingbox that can be monitored and controlled at any timeusing the app to ensure that the needs of both the petsand the keepers are well catered for.
