During the summer when I was 18, I unexpectedly suffered from aherniated disc. Those were nightmare days that I never want toexperience again, During that time, I also met many fellow sufferersonline who were struggling through their own painful periods. Thisgave me the inspiration for my design, I want to combine a mobileapp with a Bluetooth aroma diffuser speaker to help people like usby providing practical convenience and mental comfort duringdifficult times of pain.
I once visited a rehabilitation hospital where many patients in need of therapyreside. Their daily activities are confined to just a few hundred square meters. Traditional rehabilitation equipment is very dull, and patients constantly repeatspecific movements in a stifling medical environment, Therefore, I want to useVR as a medium to create an adaptive game that provides more engaging andpersonalized rehabilitation training for these patients. For ordinary people, a VR game might simply enhance gameplay andexperience, but for those undergoing rehabilitation, it offers a temporaryescape from the painful reality of their daily lives.
Brain-computer interfaces (BCls) are currently a popular topic in society. There remains a significantgap in the market for commercial EEG devices designed for individual users. The initial motivation formy project is to break away from traditional mobile device interaction methods and create thepotential for EEG caps to become a new medium for interacting with the internet in the future. Against this backdrop, l have introduced innovative optimizations in the structural design,carefully considering a more approachable and less formal appearance for the EEG cap toincrease its potential for everyday use by users. My design aims to promote the popularizationand application of EEG cap technology, providing individual users with a new brain-computerinteraction experience and positioning EEG caps as an important tool in daily life in the future.
