This project examines how Chinese gardens reflect the ideology and political thoughts of the ruling class. Chinese ancient scholars used garden design to express and consolidate their power, transforming cultural practices into political statements. The garden transforms cultural capital into a tool for maintaining authority, while concealing its political significance. I constructed a narrative game where players explore how power is redistributed through cultural practices, the alienation of power in gardens, and the shaping of human class identity in gardens. The game criticizes the phenomenon of modern capitalists ignoring public rights and gaining power by constructing buildings that conform to political trends.
