The theme of this work comes from people's over-reliance on metaphysics. They hope the environment can fulfill their desires instead of relying on personal effort. I aim to prompt viewers to reflect on the importance of their own energy through this symbolic form of installation art.
This project explores the limitations of the carrier of memory, and uses interactive projection devices to let people know that our memory will not disappear. When we touch a certain dimension again, our connection with memory will be awakened again, will flicker, will be reborn, and will exist somewhere forever.
This project criticizes some social phenomena on campuses. It stems from some unjust events that I have experienced. These events made me begin thinking about why societal hierarchy and power inequalities appear on campuses.
When the newsstand was the main output medium, managers used this medium to control people's reception of external information and to restrict people's thoughts. Now that newsagents are gradually disappearing, the Internet, to which everyone is flocking, is also behind the control and monitoring, restricting people's freedom of thought, living in accordance with the ruler's ideas, and facilitating the management of the ruled.
